On 26–27 September 2017, NFWWD participated in a leadership conference bringing together persons with disabilities from across Pakistan to strengthen leadership, advocacy, and inclusion efforts. The conference created a platform for participants to exchange experiences, build networks, and explore strategies for advancing disability rights and inclusive development in the country.

The event was organized in collaboration with STEP, the U.S. Department of State, ADTF, Sightsavers, MIUSA, the Women’s Parliamentary Caucus, and PPAF. It represented a significant milestone in promoting leadership among persons with disabilities and fostering partnerships that contribute to broader social change.
