International Women’s Day Observance: Roundtable Discussion on the Rights of Women with Disabilities – Pledge for Parity

Event Detail

On 2016, NFWWD observed International Women’s Day by organising a roundtable discussion on the rights of women with disabilities under the theme “Pledge for Parity.” The event provided a platform to highlight the challenges and opportunities faced by women with disabilities, with a special focus on ensuring their equal participation in social, economic, and political life.

The roundtable was organised in collaboration with Aurat Foundation, Special Talent Exchange Program (STEP), and the United States Department of State

The observance reaffirmed NFWWD’s commitment to advancing the rights of women with disabilities, promoting gender equality, and advocating for inclusive policies that ensure no woman is left behind.
