On International Women’s Day 2013, NFWWD co-organised an event in Islamabad titled “A Promise is a Promise:Time for Action to End Violence Against Women.” The gathering brought together advocates, community leaders, and persons with disabilities to highlight the urgent need to end all forms of violence against women, with a focus on the heightened vulnerabilities faced by women with disabilities.

The event was held in collaboration with STEP, Sightsavers, CHEF International, and the Government of Pakistan. It provided a platform for dialogue, solidarity, and commitment to action, reinforcing the global call for equality and safety for all women.
