As part of International Women’s Day 2014, NFWWD joined partners in organising a Mentoring Walk in Islamabad. The event brought together women leaders, mentors, and young women with disabilities to share experiences, build networks, and promote women’s empowerment through guidance and solidarity.
The Mentoring Walk was organised in collaboration with STEP, the Government of Pakistan, Volunteers Overcoming Poverty, and Sightsavers. It highlighted the importance of mentorship in advancing equality and leadership opportunities for women with disabilities, reinforcing the global call for inclusive progress.
