Sensitization Workshop on the Role of Women with Disabilities in Inclusive Education, Tuition, and Development

Event Detail

On 11 and 12 December 2013, NFWWD conducted a sensitization workshop on the role of women with disabilities in inclusive education, tuition, and development. The workshop highlighted how women with disabilities can play a transformative role in shaping equitable education systems, influencing policy, and ensuring that learning environments are accessible to all.

This initiative was organised in collaboration with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), CHEF International, the Government of Pakistan, Mobility International USA (MIUSA), and the Asian Disabled Women’s Forum (ADTF).

The workshop served as a platform for dialogue between women with disabilities, educators, policymakers, and development partners, paving the way for stronger advocacy around inclusive education practices in Pakistan.
