Shumaila Naz’s advocacy work is rooted in the sharp realities of Balochistan. Historically, it’s been a province where policy lags far behind the needs of its citizens. On International Day of Persons with Disabilities (Dec 3, 2019), she highlighted that out of 14,000 registered persons with disabilities, only three districts (Quetta, Mastung, Khuzdar) had official special‑education facilities. That leaves behind 9 districts underserved.
She entered NFWWD’s network as a dedicated provincial coordinator. Her mission was to bring visibility and access to regions which is often overlooked during provincial planning.
